Another good rule of thumb for both in-store and online shopping is to always check the clearance section during “J” months. The stores’ biggest markdowns occur in January and June, going into July. Lastly, check the price tag color when you’re shopping. White price tags are regular merchandise, while red price tags indicate that an item is on clearance. Keep in mind that even white-tagged items may not be restocked, so toss any must-have items into your cart.
