Florida Division of Training releases paychecks it withheld from college board associates that carried out mask mandates
Education and learning office monetary documents presented to CNN by the Orange County School Board display that the Department transferred $877,851 to the 8 districts on November 29.
The eight university districts are: Alachua County, Brevard County, Broward County, Miami-Dade, Duval County, Leon County, Orange County and Palm Beach County.

The Leon County and Orange County school districts verified they obtained the withheld resources from the Florida Division of Education and learning but did not have any further comment.
Because the paychecks were withheld, two of the university districts — Alachua County and Broward County — applied for and received grant income from the US Office of Education’s Undertaking to Help America’s Families and Educators program.
That program promises federal funds for faculty districts that are, “financially penalized,” by condition education organizations for utilizing Covid-19 mitigation techniques.
