2023 MLB playoffs TV schedule: World Series live stream, game times, how to watch Rangers vs. D-backs online

The 2023 World Series has arrived. It’s an unexpected matchup in the Fall Classic with the Texas Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks squaring off for the title. The Rangers came from behind for a 6-5 win in 11 innings in Game 1, thanks to clutch home runs from Corey Seager and Adolis García, but the Diamondbacks roared back to take Game 2 and tie the series.

Texas hosted Games 1 and 2, and will get Games 6 and 7 (if necessary) back at Globe Life Field, but for now, the World Series will head to Phoenix and Chase Field for Games 3, 4 and 5.

The Diamondbacks were the sixth and final seed in the National League bracket. They ousted the NL Central champion Brewers in the Wild Card Series, took out the NL West-winning Dodgers in the NLDS and battled back to eliminate the reigning NL champion Phillies in the NLCS. The D-backs are in the World Series for only the second time in franchise history. They won the title over the Yankees in 2001.

The Rangers, meanwhile, are still looking for their first World Series trophy. This is the franchise’s third trip to the Fall Classic.

A World Series Game 7 would take place on Saturday, Nov. 4. Here’s the complete World Series schedule.
